Will we make it to CES tomorrow?

Well its almost time to get on the plane to CES, but as most Brits are now aware we are about to get a fairly good sprinkling of snow.

We’ve been watching the news all day and through a lot of nail chewing watched the reports of more and more towns getting covered in snow, and those towns being announced were getting closer and closer to us as the snow moved south.

I personally live around an hour and a half from Gatwick, so before the snow engulfed the little village where I live, I decided to de-camp to the ‘Premier Inn’ at Gatwick airport, fearful that there is no way I could be sure that I would make it from Bucks to Gatwick at 05.00am tomorrow morning.

I would like to note that there is nothing ‘Premier’ about a Premier Inn, in fact they are shit. It took me 30 minutes to check in, there is no mini bar, there is no room service, and I would have to wait three hours to get a table in the Premier Inn restaurant…and its only 20.15, Oh, and the Internet access is £15 for 24 hours! FIFTEEN POUNDS!

So after all this hassle, I hope the plane can take off on time tomorrow otherwise I may have to live here like Alan Partridge!
