Welcome to Version 2 of the blog

Welcome to version 2 of the Ranieri Communications blog. What happened to version 1 I can hear you ask? well to be honest it was our first venture into the world of blogging and while it started off at a sprint, it sort of crawled to a bit of a stop at the end. Two main reasons for that a) lack of ownership and b) an unclear content strategy.

So why wont version 2 go the same way? Simple really. We have retained the services of a consultant to manage the blog and ensure that appropriate and relevant content is added. We are also a lot clearer about our content strategy, and understand better that as a blog we have a lot more flexibility and mobility than the traditional web site. We have embraced the medium of Video in a big way, especially  the ability to live stream and upload from mobile phones like the iPhone and N95, and we plan to bring you much more ‘as it happens’ coverage from product launches, study groups, trade shows etc.

Of course we will still be utilising the written word, but under the control of an external professional to ensure that the focus is maintained.
