14th October 2009: Varnam, specialists in consumer and home electronics, today launches the Q3, a new motion sensing games console that won’t hurt the pocket. The Q3 contains 40 pre-loaded games, including 10 interactive titles and 30 classic arcade style games including tennis, horse training, swimming, golf, dancing, car racing and snow boarding. The Q3 is available from online retailers Amazon and e-Bowl.co.uk for £89.99.

The Q3 is a simple plug-and-play console with a 3-D motion sensing remote controller, meaning there are no complicated installation processes or mess of wires to contend with. It connects to any television via the AV ports and runs on batteries to avoid any tangled web of leads. Users just need to connect the Q3 to the television then press the power button to start playing. The easy-to-use and intuitive interface along with the wireless motion sensing controller, means users will be hitting forehand winners in no time!

Available in either blue or pink, the Q3 is very compact and easily portable, so users can take it with them to entertain children or even liven up any party. And with 40 pre-loaded games, there is no need to carry around extra cartridges, CDs or game boxes.

The wide range of games means there is something for everyone-whether it be hitting a tee shot onto the green, catching a fish, collecting gems in a forest or training a farm of ponies. The 32-bit cartoon style graphics create a vibrant and fun environment for gaming. The easy to grasp motion sensing remote controller, recreates the user’s actions on-screen, adding another dimension to the game. A number of the games support multiplayer options, meaning friends and family can compete against each other.

The Q3 comes with one controller. The console takes 3xAA batteries. The remote controller takes 2xAA batteries. Additional controllers and AC adaptors are sold separately.
