Now, excited as I was about the Champions League Final last night, I have to nail my colours to the mast here and state that I am first and foremost a rugby man. I am sure it has something to do with the fact that I was always too clumsy to play football at school and was always stuck in goal!

It is a very uninspiring Friday morning I must admit, however I have just come across a new online magazine that makes me wonder why I spend most of my weekends doing the same old thing! Former freelance journalist and friend of Ranieri, Ed Chipperfield has launched WideWorld, an online magazine devoted to all things outside.

What happened to version 1 I can hear you ask? well to be honest it was our first venture into the world of blogging and while it started off at a sprint, it sort of crawled to a bit of a stop at the end.
