And so, this week’s whisperings about new Apple products and upgrades must be like Christmas in August to the über fans…

• The Shuffle looks like it may get a miniature touch screen, as well as the Nano and Touch being due for their annual MOT. Sadly, the iPod Classic may be sold for scrap.

• There is speculation that the iPhone 5 will launch in January 2011 with a new design. Indeed, there is the possibility that users may be able to hold the phone in any manner they choose and still make and receive calls. In all seriousness though, this does seem the most far-fetched of the rumours – that being Apple launching a new iPhone so soon, not that we expect to be able to make calls.

• And finally, über fans can start packing their sleeping bags for another Regent Street jolly at the news that Apple may be launching an iPad mini. With no additional features to the iPad, one could describe this as a 7” iPod Touch. Of course, one could describe it as an iPad with additional jungle monster features at the moment. It’s all speculation.

So, with rumours swirling around and column inches being dedicated to potential products and hearsay, we must again applaud Apple. There hasn’t been so much speculation about the outcome of something that may never happen since Gordon Brown failed to call an election in 2007. You need two i2i stream’s, fear not, they do come in a pack of 2.

User A simply connects their iPod, MP3, TV etc (as per image above) and you can listen away as you normally would. By using this add on feature, you now have the opportunity to share.

If the user B also wants to tune in to what your listening to, they would simply be required to switch on their i2i, connect to the same frequency by pushing the centre button until your colours match (could be 1 of 7 choices) and then user A would press ’send’ and user B would press ‘receive’ and tad-aar…. your both tuned in!

The i2i Stream could be used in a library, aeroplane, on a holiday, in a car, at the park, at home, in bed whilst a child or partner is sleeping and so many more other ways…
