A robot hobbyist has developed an application that lets the iPhone 3GS function as the brain and face of miniature humanoid robot, Robochan.

It’s made from a Kondo KHR-2HV humanoid which has had its head replaced by an iPhone which controls the machine.

Spotify has pretty much taken over our office in the last few weeks. It started by one person downloading it and playing their music in the office. That then triggered someone else to download it as they didn’t like the original players music choice, and it has finally resorted to everyone downloading it and putting on their headphones and listening to what they want…

Cut and Paste is brilliant, syncing Notes is useful but we have all pretty much got used to not having it to be honest, and some of the new apps are awesome.

While in no way could we endorse any form of illegal activity, Tethering your iPhone is something a lot of people want to do, and many carriers allow. At the end of the day if your data plan has a ‘reasonable use’ policy then the mature approach for all parties surely is to allow tethering and monitor it, not to assume the worst!

iPhone 3.0 Software Downloads Reach Six Million

CUPERTINO, California—June 22, 2009—Apple® today announced that it has sold over one million iPhone™ 3GS models through Sunday, June 21, the third day after its launch. In addition, six million customers have downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software in the first five days since its release.

That’s a lot of iPhones and more importantly accessories customers!

I keep seeing these adverts for Mazuma Mobile and thought ‘what a great idea’! So I went to the website told them about the phones I had lying around and set up an order.

The media will be going ga ga for G20 this week (even more so than they were last week) and it kicks off in today’s FT with an exclusive interview with Barrack Obama on his expectations from the summit. He speaks of unity in the face of crisis – a strong message indeed but how can world leaders be expected to put the world first when the most pressing issues are happening right under their noses?

As a heavy iPhone user I’m definitely looking forward to the new features of the iPhone 3.0 software…
