GEAR4 announces new alarm clock radios for iPod and iPhone

GEAR4 today announces two new iPhone compatible alarm clock radios, the CRG-70W and CRG-200W. Both models are designed and certified to work with both the iPod and iPhone and are packed full of features.

Minimalist in size and style, the CRG-70W is a sleek and compact alarm clock. Its flexible design means the speakers can be moved around for enhanced stereo sound capability or connected together via the base tray as a neat, single unit. The CRG-70W’s universal dock will charge up an iPod or iPhone while docked and it comes complete with adapters to ensure a snug fit.

Additional features include an FM radio with 6 programmable preset stations, a dimmable LCD display and two alarms that can each be set to wake users up to radio, iPod / iPhone or buzzer. A line-in port is also available for connecting the CRG-70W to other music players.

The CRG-200W takes the alarm clock radio to a new level; it allows users to dock both an iPod and iPhone at the same time. Not only does this enable dual charge functionality, it also gives users the flexibility to set multiple alarms at different times with different music. As well as iPod or iPhone, its built-in FM radio with 30 programmable preset stations is also a wake-up option, or users can choose a simple buzzer if preferred.

Other features of the CRG-200W include a dimmable LCD display and a video out port for linking up to a bedroom TV, meaning users can watch iPhone movies from bed. As with the CRG-70W, the CRG-200W also has a line-in port to connect up other music players.

The CRG-70W and CRG-200W will be available in leading retailers across Europe or from www.gear4store.com from August.
