Last weekend, we joined Computers Unlimited (CU) for its annual Wacky Races event, which ended up at the French seaside resort of Hardelot.
Around 20 teams took part in separate cars for a treasure hunt through France, with all competitors dressed in fancy dress. Not only were there prizes for completing the treasure hunt, but awards were also given for the best costumes.

As some of you know we were part of the Tech21 launch a couple of weeks ago that started out on Dragons Den where Peter and Theo backed Jason Roberts, the man behind Tech 21.
I don’t know how many of you watch Dragons Den but last night was a bit of a first for Ranieri, one of our new clients Tech21 appeared…after a very tense negotiation, Jason Roberts the founder and owner of Tech21 managed to secure full investment of £150k and the support of Theo and Peter! very cool.

Has anyone been watching the series on BBC Two called ‘On Thin Ice’? It follows Ben Fogle and James Cracknell on a gruelling adventure to reach the South Pole. It took them 18 days to ski across 474 miles of frozen wilderness, finally arriving at the pole on the 22nd of January 09. It is an unbelievable achievement…coming back without frostbite is a feat in itself when at times the temperature dropped below -50c!!
Some of you may know that here at Ranieri we look after a client called HandiRack. They’re one of those clients that have a really cool product, and a really useful product at that. In fact the product is so good that their customers take the time to write a letter of thanks and take pictures of them using it!
In celebration of its German heritage, last night we held an event for our client Medion in a bavarian beerhouse. It was an exclusive press party filled with beer, sausages, schnapps, ‘interesting’ german music and waitresses dressed in traditional Bavarian outfits. All very entertaining.
